The Socket SDSC 3M is equipped with a powerful Class 1 laser bar code scanning engine, and is able to handle large volume and high speed scanning. Its state-of-the-art laser technology enables the reading of damaged, poor quality and hard to read bar codes, even on curved and reflective surfaces and in dim environments.

Since it draws power straight from the mobile computer it’s plugged into, the Socket SDSC 3M requires no additional batteries or power adapters to hassle with. It is also designed to be Battery Friendly®, meaning it uses minimal power, allowing for hours of operation without having to replace or recharge PDA batteries.

The Socket SDSC 3M automatically decodes the most popular bar code symbologies used today, and the included SocketScan keyboard emulation software sends scanned data directly into any Windows or Palm application as virtual keystrokes, so no custom programming is required to use the product.
